Little S has a Finish

Little S received a super cute farm print quilt top from her Mama Cristy in Guatemala.  We went through the stash here at home to come up with a backing and this is what we got.  I cut and she sewed.  She did a great job.

Today she went with me to the guild meeting.  She showed off her backing and got lots of oohs and aahs.  The talk was about strip piecing and there were lots of great ideas.  So we came home with a bag of strips and Little S will try her hand at a rail fence.

    Soooo preeetttty! You are having lots of fun with little S I bet! and maybe even a bit proud of her too!!!!

    It's wonderful that you are getting Little S into quilting and enjoying guild meetings. My guild is always hoping to get the younger generations involved in hopes of passing the torch eventually.
