First week of school - DONE!! I'm off to a good start at school, but definitely need to work on my stamina so that I can work and sew everyday. I also need a better plan so that when I come home tired I have something ready to go. I had a few ideas for this past week, but most of them didn't happen.
I did, however, take advantage of being home alone for a few evenings to lay out the leader & ender units I had completed. A while back I had cut random pieces for leader enders with no real plan, but now I had a few ideas and tried this to start. I think it has potential. Since I don't have anymore pieces cut for leader enders, I think that's a good place to start to keep me sewing and keep this moving along.

I like where this is going! |
Your leaders and enders project is really cool. You did well getting in the stitching time that first week of school. It's hard to go from R&R to being "on" for most of the day. Hope you have a good class this year.
ReplyDeleteFirst off, I love the title of your blog. Priceless! You do have a plan. If you know what step to take next and have what you need to get it done, even on low energy times it is possible to make progress. Amazing how far you can go one step at a time.
ReplyDeleteI can remember coming home that first week of school and falling asleep on the couch for an hour or two. Pure exhaustion. (I was an elementary school media specialist.) Being retired means I can do what I want when I want to ... or so I tell my self. I do like your leader ender plan. It looks so cool as you've laid it out. Definitely keep going on it!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I totally understand how you feel after the first week at school, my first day back at school is in two days and I know I will be exhausted too. Your leader and ender project is looking great, it's good to have a plan ;) Thank you for sharing and linking up!
