I was really dreading making a bike basket liner for Little S to take back to college with her. But I was caught up on everything else and time is running out, so I just did it. No pattern. I measured carefully and thought through each step carefully.
I started with the heavy apron scraps from this project for the first try on one day. That worked out well, so the next day I did the same thing with leftovers from an old sheet from the mask making days. The third day I made the flap and attached it all. It went together right on the first try. It pays to do more thinking and less improvising! What a relief!
I included a pocket on the pink inside and also elastic bands to hold her water bottle. She is happy. I am happy. That is a big check off the back to school list!!
